Free-standing fireplace installation in Stellenbosch

Free-Standing Fireplace Stellenbosch

One of our free-standing installs was on a winery farm house just outside the city. The install was done in a span of two months since the house was under construction. The unit was to be installed on the bottom floor of a double storey mansion. We drilled through the slab to the upper floor and through the upstairs ceiling before lining our flu piping. We left the piping hanging on the ground floor ceiling stretching to the top floor ceiling cavity for the painting and the flooring to be done completely before the unit was installed. After the December holidays, we visited the construction site to finish the installation of the unit thus when we took our piping through the roofing and waterproofed around the piping before we installed a storm cowl. On the bottom floor, we then installed the fireplace on a glass plate for protecting the wooden flooring in front of the unit and it adds a great look around the unit itself. We then connected the hanging flu piping to the fireplace thus completing the process.
