Both economic on wood and effective, it provides the option for either a top exit flue straight up into the ceiling, or a rear exit flue that feeds into the wall behind it, which is ideal for installing in an existing open fireplace. Suitable for a medium-sized living area, there's no need to remain fireside to enjoy the warmth produced by this fireplace. The water jacket - a cavity in the fireplace walls into which cold water can enter and hot water can exit - absorbs heat from the combustion chamber to warm up the water, which is then circulated throughout the house to one or more radiators so that no room is left cold. With the addition of a simple heat exchanger, you can even add domestic water heating to. Boiler Output = 5kW - 10kW.
