Craig511 months agoMy experience dealing with Barend on my first interaction with Hydrofire at their showroom and subsequently dealing with Kevin was very positive. Their product knowledge of both wood and dual fuel fireplaces was impressive as this helped me choose the Northern Flame Fuji. The advise and sales service from Kevin was very professional when helping me choosing the fireplace up to the purchase of the flue kit. He suggested spraying it black which pleased my wife as she was not keen on the discoloration of the stainless steel. :-) Very happy with Kevin and Lee for arranging the installation so soon after the purchase and will recommend them to anyone needing to purchase and install a fireplace. The process around buying the fireplace was easy, and the website is very informative and provides you with the necessary information to size the fireplace that works for you. The measurements provided were accurate and the communication from the sales team was clear. My fireplace was delivered in January and the delivery took place when promised. The unit is well made, from quality materials and provides user information from first fire to maintenance. For installation, I used Adonis to do the installation. He arrived on time, as promised, and did the installation with such attention to detail. He was neat, organized, and made little mess. He was very knowledgeable about the fireplace and I was VERY happy with the install. Overall, I am glad that I chose Hydrofire and Adonis for my fireplace. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!Read more

How to lodge a complaint with Hydrofire?
The easiest way to submit a complaint is by sending an email to [email protected] or through our Whatsapp channel on 021 5100 980 . Submitting your complaint via these channels will allow us to direct your issue to the team best equipped to deal with your specific request.
Do you deliver fireplaces?
Normally we do not deliver ourselves. If you are in Cape Town and book an installation with our installer, they will usually collect the fireplace from us and deliver it to your home. We do also have a vehicle we can use in case of emergencies. For deliveries in other parts of South Africa, we use door to door couriers, which are reasonable and reliable.
Can Hydrofire give me professional guidance in selecting a fireplace?
Yes. At Hydrofire Cape Town we understand that a fireplace in an investment and a lifelong addition to the family, so to help our customers in selecting a heating solution that perfect suits their needs, we provide guidance and advice on a daily basis. Feel free to call us or pop into our showroom in Paarden Eiland and we will be glad to assist – you can find our contact details here. Regrettably, we do not do house visit, however a photo and a measurement of the area (including ceiling height) is sufficient for us to be able to adequately advise you and recommend a fireplace and flue.
