The termec room thermostat is the ideal solution for automatic temperature control in the home, in schools, public areas and workshops, and for a Variety of applications in residential and industrial heating and air-conditioning systems. The thermostat contact opens and closes according to the ambient temperature detected by a saturated Vapour expansion chamber. The desired ambient temperature is selected by rotating a simple regulation knob. If the heating system is not used for extended winter periods, the termec thermostat can be set to maintain the temperature at a LEVEL sufficient to PREVENT the pipes from freezing. To do this, simply turn the regulation knob on the termec thermostat until the position marked (+5 °C) is in alignment with the reference mark.
